Four
fire crews and a water bowser attended the incident and a number of firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used
hose reels and main jets to tackle the fire. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman
Kevin Tedds said: “The initial incident
commander made a quick, good and decisive plan, made up for more resources and
put a fire stop to prevent it spreading. Simultaneous actions including moving
a number of farm vehicles.”
No
one was injured in the incident but several vehicles were destroyed. The cause
of the fire is still being investigated.
