FIVE ARRESTED AFTER SANDIACRE DISTURBANCE

Police were called to reports of a large disturbance in Norbury Way, Sandiacre, at around 6.30pm on Saturday 6th June. A 50-year-old man, 25-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man all from Ilkeston were arrested at the scene, along with a 22-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 32-year-old woman from Sandiacre. All were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and were kept in police custody while enquiries continued. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, in particular anyone who may have footage such as CCTV or dashcam, that can assist the investigation into the incident.
