ROADWORKS TO RESUME

Roadworks which links motorists to the M1 and A52 are set to restart next month. Work which began in Bostocks Lane, Sandiacre, in June, last year, was halted after a fire under a bridge following a robbery in Breaston.  This resulted in Derbyshire County Council reopening Bostocks Lane to help cope with the extra local traffic. Highways chiefs have confirmed work will restart in early June, and will take around 10 weeks and will see an extra lane installed on Bostocks Lane to help traffic get onto the roundabout for the M1 (junction 25) and A52 more quickly. Bostocks Lane will be closed northbound from the Sandiacre highways depot to the Sandiacre Interchange roundabout while work is under way.
