Police
were called after the report of an assault in Moorfield Court, Stapleford. Jake
Rollinson, 19, of Hickings Lane, Stapleford, was charged with dangerous
driving, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis, attempted grievous
bodily harm, and common assault. He was remanded in custody to appear at
Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on April
20th. The incident occurred at 12.20am on Saturday April 18th. A
23-year-old man and a woman were also arrested on suspicion of assault. The man
was released under investigation and the woman was released with no further
action to be taken. A police spokesman said: “Anyone who saw what happened
they should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 13 of
18th April 2020.”
